#AudioMo: The sound of a Track Stack, in which you take two or more MIDI instruments and stack them together like a musical sandwich so that the sounds combine together to form a new hole:

@gocu54 I've made really huge stacks with 7 or so instruments, which is lots of fun.

I wish Reaper could do this easily. Sure it can be done but the notion of a folder is completely inverted from a track stack, and to build a track stack you either have to shove multiple instruments on the fx chain or manually route the MIDI.

@menelion Very interesting. I always thought that Maverick and Soft Piano would fit together. They have similar mood to my ears. But it's great to hear the stack. Is there a particular volume ratio or just 50 X 50?

@vick21 @menelion Doesn't matter, as every application is different. I say, don't at all concern yourself with this stack, recrate it and feel it out. Whatever *you* think the mix should be, is what the mix should be. Don't build it like you're building a house or a cake, with a set of rules. Build it such that your own ears are happy with the final outcome. That, is the most important thing you can do.

@vick21 @menelion When you build it, please play your midi guitar through it. I would love to hear that.

@menelion Yep, once I am back home and have access to my KK hardware controller, I should be able to replicate the stack!

OK, I am finally home and tried to recreate the Soft / Maverick pianos template. Here is me playing the stack on a MIDI guitar. Hope this sounds any good!
