Hello Mastodon! Making my #introduction

I've spent a lot of time on the internet, but never participated in this whole social media thing, so here I am trying it out!

My interests vary, but fiction, programming, nature, geography, and video games (strategy) are consistent.

Recently been working to become a better community member and brushing up on progressive thought because things here in the usa are bad.

I'm a software engineer at my day job, and I have a corn snake keeping me company.
