XMPP because Discord is evil, IRC doesn't do what I need, and Matrix is slow and buggy. All XMPP needs is a good client, and because I'm on Linux, I can use @dino (wish it was cross-platform, but that feels like asking for too much)
Of course I also use Matrix because that's what everyone else uses, but that doesn't mean I can't be annoyed with it
