Made a quick visit to the UC Davis Veterinary Medicine Toxic Plant Garden today. UCD Toxic Plant Garden

The "poisonous plant garden", now known as the Toxic Plant Garden, at the School of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis was originated by Dr. Murray Fowler in 1970. Dr. Fowler provided the following brief history of the garden:

Two Brugmansia cultivars in bloom right now. As we approach winter, these are the showiest part of the toxic garden right now. #toxicology #horticulture #gardening #VeterinaryMedicine #UCDavis #pets

Two different shades of Brugmansia (Angel's Trumpet) loom over a water main. Because there's no obvious onboarding nor page dedicated to accessibility features, notice that this is how you put alt text into images on Mastodon. I'm not sure what the upper limit is on characters per img. Use the "Edit" in the upper right-hand side of an uploaded image in a draft toot to access this area. #a11y #SciComm
