The fact that the Government of Canada still hasn't issued a travel advisory for traveling to the US is a general failure of our Government to protect Canadians.
Just to reiterate the reasons:
- no gender recognition
- the use of bathroom is subject to sexual assault
- the SS force (ICE) kidnapping people
- people detained at the border without justification
- All the guns and the fentanyl
- Anus Tangerinus

right wing media, which generally advocates for death or removal from the population for drug users, suddenly screeching about "fentanyl at our borders" is a sure tell that something's amiss

in reply to Hubert Figuière • • •true but it might be one of those overton window things? like they make three ridiculous claims and while we are busy debunking one, they get us to accidentally tacitly accept another.
all i'm saying is that inadvertently boosting the moral panic over fentanyl doesnt help drug users, who are generally the only people dying from it, even if it is only part of a rhetorical exercise pointing out the extreme fecklessness of our leaders, which is otherwise quite sound all around.

Other friends had abuse hurled at them because they had British Columbia number plates. This was at a rest stop.
Right leaning CBP/ICE are looking for a fight, they are not trained to de-escalate and their nature is to be aggressive.
