The point of Santé Québec is to privatize almost ALL healthcare. It's doing so, right now, w/ the COVID-19 vaccines.Santé Québec oversees the ordering process for the COVID-19 vaccines given to at-risk groups, which are sent to wholesalers and then distributed to pharmacies.
For the paid vaccines, Santé Québec is not involved. Pharmacies place their orders directly with wholesalers, who order the vaccines from manufacturers.
