This is the best frozen har gow. It tastes better than many lower end takeout dimsum spots in San Francisco. Just steam or microwave it yourself at home.

I know this because I’ve eaten many bad frozen har gows before finding this one!

Here’s my list of lazy food that tastes good (I cannot stand most American convenience foods)

If you order all of the items on this list you’ll probably get better dimsum than going to a not great dimsum restaurant wherever you live: https://www.sayweee.com/promotion/top-x/mil15x85?lang=en&utm_source=copyLink

And with these Lanzhou beef noodles, bring your own beef slices and you’ll end up with a better Chinese beef noodle soup than many restaurants in the Bay Area known for beef noodle soup heheh (the soup pack it ships with is a proper soup concentrate that tastes just like it does in China)

The ‘export’ version of Indomie is very much less spicy than the Indomie in Indonesia. I order the ‘hot and spicy’ one which tastes closer to the original Indonesian one

Instant noodles don’t have to be ‘bad’. In Asia they’re almost an art form: there are some which are seen to be more artisanal, more restaurant quality. Tseng noodles are that for me: springy and bouncy Taiwanese noodles coated in a sesame sauce

Any Taiwanese product that brands itself ‘Go Cha’ (古早) tends to be exceptional because that’s the Hokkien word for ‘old timey taste’

This oyster vermicelli pack is the best thing you’ll get if you don’t live near a large Taiwanese community. It’s also the taste of my childhood (my grandmother made this dish often)
