Is mumble still the way to go or are there other open source alternatives you have tried and think they are good?

What about selfhhosting a TeamTalk server? Was quite the go to in my blindie bubble for years, feel like many have ditched it for Discord at this point, including me, but still works great and simple. There are server hosting providers, but I think you'd rather setup thhe server yourself, there are management scripts and all to do it, but I guess it's not that hhard without either.
