For the next #deltachat version on iOS: we are on a good path to solving the long-standing iOS push notification problems.

For chat mail instances, we plan to provide instant push notifications over our push relay, and for all other providers, #deltachat_ios will be woken up at regular intervals to fetch new messages (In a perfect world, that could be a 20-min interval or less)

Though, it would still be better if Apple had an API to just allow us to keep the IMAP IDLE network connection open.🤔
