the HUD search is so handy, but I always forget what the keyboard combination is... Ctrl or shift tilda?

@Dustwin What operating system are you using? They should be displayed in the menu, next to the menu items themselves. But it might vary depending on your platform / setup...

finally this feature from Ubuntu Unity desktop is at least in some form available in other desktop and on Windows. Was already using it for some time. Thanks.

thank you very much for this tip! I didn't know this before, and now I just realized that GIMP, Inkscape and Scribus also have this feature now. Practiced with my students this morning and that incredibly helps a lot.
