I think something it seems like in my experience a lot of people I talk to aren't as familiar with is the option to have browse mode off when a page loads. I love this, because if I know that I'm going to a page to just fill a form, I don't have to worry about browse mode getting in the way. Same with web apps like Semaphore, Discord, etc. I love having browse mode not get enabled for those too. I now browse the web by having NVDA never render the content automatically at all and it is such a positive experience because I'm in control of when I want to read vs pass everything through to the application.
