Working on a more usable multi-account experience in #deltachat_desktop

In the future versions you will be able to switch between accounts more easily while staying informed about new messages from all accounts.

Below the accounts is a plus button which is used to add additional accounts.

this is a very welcome improvement! we aim to add badge counters on the Android account switcher icon as well, iOS has it already - so you'll get a similar experience on all systems 👌

Back to desktop: i've just heard rumours that webxdc apps stay open on switching accounts 🤠

🔔 The next version will also bring multi account notifications to desktop.

🔕 You will also be able to mute accounts so you don't need to mute all chats by hand in your casual mailing list account.

For macOS users we removed the window titlebar, inspired by a popular proprietary gaming chat app. I think it looks quite cool now 😄

The accounts in the sidebar show the different unread badges: blue background for normal unread, grey for unread messages in muted accounts. If an account is muted but has no unread a badge with a mute icon and grey background is shown.

I remember when I removed the title bar for Signal Desktop. It looked SO MUCH BETTER after doing that...seems the same here!
