#eurovision #esc actually I don't find it implausible that given the salience of this issue, and that a lot of anti Israel people were boycotting, that more voters favoured that country than any one of the other 15. This is why many real democracies have run offs, in a run off between 2 parties, Austria (or anyone actually in Europe) would have beat Israel by a wide margin. theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2…

Exactly! I mean, okay, even if recognize that #Israel lead a massive social media campaign and encouraged people to vote for Yuval, it's not prohibited. there are questions whether it's good, honest and so on, but it is not against the law. The same as voting twenty times for one country is not against the law. Like, I could have voted 20 times for my favorite, #Portugal. Or, as a Ukrainian, I could vote 20 times for #Ukraine because I have a French number and I live in France. Is that honest? Well… I won't judge. I think laws still need to be changed, but it's only my opinion. #Eurovision #ESC #ESC2025
