That's the open collective foundation, which is just one of the fiscal hosts (opencollective.com/search?isHo…). And I think it was strictly US entities only?

Open source collective was for software the more interesting choice I think.
And now there's also open collective Europe, which is yet another separate fiscal host probably also not impacted by this.

This is super confusing and the same layout and domain across all of these things contribute to the confusion I think
