So here's my experience of installing and testing @altstore

First off I went to altstore.io and purchased #AltStore using Safari on my iPhone SE (iOS 17.4.1). I got directed to a download page and clicking the download button pops up an error message.

How does the subscription model work here exactly? It says 1,5€ per year. What happens when the years is over and you don't renew? does the app stop working?

I don't known. Technically It's a stripe subscription liked to my email. I didn't have to authenticate within the app. So I guess chances are (especially given how quickly they implemented all of this), that the AltStore app currently doesn't have user accounts. Not sure if that's something they'll require in the future. They're organized as LLC so making profits is part of their legal setup. So I guess, they might add some DRM at some point, we will see.
