Support for our #Ecovacs Deebot N8 #vacuum cleaner was removed from #HomeAssistant. I hope it's only a temporary problem. 🤞 From github discussion it seems that maintainers have problem with testing changes on the variety of devices as the API they are using is not documented nor public and is sligthly different for each device.
Oh yes. I almost gave up, but finally it works now. Our new #Ecovacs robot vacuum cleaner is connected to #HomeAssistant. 🎉 ✅ it show current state ✅ it show last cleaning state including a map of cleaning ✅ it can be commanded
Next step is to set up an automation for regular cleaning.
