I'm giving a talk at the upcoming DM Lab in-person and online event run by Drake Music - Imagining the Future.

Date: Wednesday 26th July 2023, 6pm

The event will include opportunities for networking and music making and testing a selection of instruments from Drake Music’s Accessible Musical Instrument Collection. Presenters Andre Louis (yours truly), Hugh Aynsley, Dave Meckin, and Si Tew will be sharing some exciting tips and tricks from how to use Ableton Note to demonstrating award-winning new digital instrument from Tech4Good.

Online Access

While this will be an in-person event, there will also be the opportunity to view the presentations online. Register for an online ticket to receive the Zoom link, which will be shared ahead of the event.
Venue Access

The venue is fully accessible, and we will provide a quiet space. Additionally, live captions and BSL interpreters will be present at the session. Please inform us of any specific access requirements when registering for the event.

Wanted to vaguely recreate Robert Miles - Children in a chilled out fashion using #AbletonNote so I gave it a go. It's a silly rendition but still.


Today I wanted to try to make some kind of #Reggae thing with #AbletonNote. It's difficult as it has no dotted or swing quantise options, so I just made something straight instead. Still, I think it's pretty funky never the less. Audio attached.
