Silvius in horto olitorio pastinacas immensas et distortas invenit (Silvius finds enormous, odd-shaped carrots in the vegetable garden). similes monstris luteis multipedibusque sunt, sed Silvius non timet (They're like many-legged orange monsters, but Silvius isn't afraid)!

Silvius et Minimus foculum ex argilla faciunt (Silvius and Minimus are making a stove from clay). Minimus foculum construit, et Silvius tabellum mure imprimit (Minimus builds the stove and Silvius stamps a plaque with a mouse).

Minimus has fetched out his serra (saw) and runcina (plane) to construct a cunabulum (cradle). Minima has started to sew a culcita (mattress) and lodicula (little blanket). parvulus musculus (the baby mouse) is here to stay!
