6 December 1989, 35 years ago, 14 women were murdered for one single reason: they were women. 12 of them were Engineering students, 1 was a nursing student and 1 was an employee.
An additional 14 people were injured, 10 women and 4 men.

That this happened is inexcusable. These 14 people were chasing their own dreams. As a society, we must never forget them and we must strive to always do better.
