@ebassi Mark any text and press it multiple times to switch between UPPER CASE, lower case, Whatever this is called, and Whatever This Is Called. Very useful if you didn't notice Caps Lock where on or you copy some text that's in the wrong style and don't want to write the whole thing manually, etc.

this is really application territory, because only an application knows about its contents; so it's either a feature of the toolkit, or implemented straight into the app. It could be implemented, say, by the GTK text widgets, but then everybody else has to do the same, and everyone has to decide to use the same key shortcut. Introducing new shortcuts onto unsuspecting apps may end up colliding with existing shortcuts, as well.

@ebassi I see, yeah, that makes sense. Thanks! Maybe there could be a way for GTK to make it really easy for any app developer to implement it app wide, and then some sort of friendly nudge in the HIG or something encouraging devs to use it in their apps? I don't know if that's how things work
