According to FTC reports, 2.8 million people reported being victims of fraud in 2021. When the dust settled, their losses totaled more than $5.8 billion β an increase of more than 70 percent over 2020. And nearly half of those losses β $2.3 billion β were caused by imposter scams.
Unfortunately the company I work for chose to migrate EVERYTHING they possibly could to Microsoft services - including the previously self-hosted email servers.
I find it extremely irritating that link targets in emails I receive at work are all replaced by links to #Outlook.com, allowing MS to monitor any interaction and add its own trackers, so they can even see whether a link has been followed by people I forward a mail to π€―
@thunderbird Awesome! A minor improvement idea: is it possible to display the 2 URLs aligned on top of each other to see the difference in case it's not obvious? Thanks for making great software btw!
