Just a small plea from me to anyone in the blind community writing or podcasting about the Zoom Essential series of recorders. Obviously there’s huge interest in these products because of their #accessibility.
I’ve been contacted by quite a few blind people today who have seen others referring to the products as the H1E, H4E, and H6E. They are not called this. You might think this sounds pedantic, but the problem is that the old H series is still being sold, so people have in a couple of cases ended up ordering products that don’t have the accessibility feature. So, if we’re able to refer to the products by their proper names, hopefully this will help people to search on the correct thing and find them. This is especially important given that blind people can’t see the pictures of them.
I am sure many people who don’t live and breathe this stuff but have become intrigued by the accessibility options will really appreciate this. Thanks.
