Β‘Hi Friendifans!

I guess this topic has been covered 1000 times before, but I can't seem to find a way to "search and find" the older threads on this forum. So I apologise for returning to a familiar topic.

I installed #friendica on my home micro-server on #Yunohost and after an upgrade it worked perfectly for a few weeks, but lately it has started to frequently show the "504 Gateway Time-out" error page and I wonder if this could be due to some configuration of my node or some other reason.

As a background, at the moment, the server has only one active user, with almost 2.000 contacts.

Version 2023.12 - Version BD 1542/1542 - 1507/1507

Thank you very much in advance for any help.

What hardware are you using for Friendica? And what other services are you running on it?

E,g, I'm using a RasPi4 and running Friendica + Nextcloud but not with 2000 active contacts.

An old lenovo only destined for Yunohost, where friendica, mastodon and pleroma are installed.

Although I'm thinking of deactivating mastodon and just keeping the others.

@Tobias
It seems that the problem is system overload.

After searching through the yunohost commands I found the following:

$ sudo yunohost service stop glitchsoc-sidekiq glitchsoc-streaming glitchsoc-web
‘Éxito! Servicio 'glitchsoc-sidekiq' detenido
‘Éxito! Servicio 'glitchsoc-streaming' detenido
‘Éxito! Servicio 'glitchsoc-web' detenido
$ sudo yunohost service stop pleroma
‘Éxito! Servicio 'pleroma' detenido
$ sudo yunohost service stop lstu
‘Éxito! Servicio 'lstu' detenido

And with that now my Friendica node seems to run more smoothly.

Sorry to come back with the same problem, but I don't see a solution in sight yet.

I have stopped and/or uninstalled all the other services that I had installed in yunohost and I have definitely left friendica as the only working service, and although the same messages appear much less, they still appear.

And I have only one active user on my instance, so what could be causing this problem?

(I will now deactivate some friendica addons to see if there is any change).
