Today's #AndroidAppRain at https://apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid brings you 8 updated & 2 added apps, the latter enlarging your "green suite":

* Fossify Contacts
* Fossify Phone

Replacing your orange, now ad-ridden Simple Tools apps.

On the security front, the new APK checks are now fully in place. 2 more apps with debug keys have been removed (no longer maintained), and Dotterel switched to a proper release key.

For those wondering what APK checks are meant here: https://gitlab.com/IzzyOnDroid/repo/-/issues/475 (and linked issues) have the background. A blog article with explanations (also for the less tech-savvy) will follow soon™. But now I first have to address today's findings… 🙈

@liberloebi No, they have distinct packageNames. Is any explanation given? If not, can you download the APK to your computer and try `adb install <APK-file-name>` to see what it says? If that fails, it at least should give some more details for the reason.

Which one did you try, by the way?

No, there wasn't and explanation given. I tried the Galerie. Will try again with more time later.

@liberloebi Without any details it's hard to say, hence the question what `adb install` would say. Well, we'll see. Sometimes a "try again" helps as well, maybe the download was incomplete or something.

@liberloebi 👀 That of course explains. I hope it's not "full of trackers and bloat" 🙊 💨

PS: That's one of the reasons for the size limit in my repo. Succeeded in shrinking the size of apps more than once, to get them listed 😉
