Is the discussion happening on discourse? I'm certainly not an expert but I've been running gitlab runners on various systems, including macos.

@zygoon You can use Discourse, or join the channels on Matrix; the main issue is having people that understand macOS enough to be able to set up a shared CI runner and, more importantly, keeping it running…
