@menelion The easiest way is to use a braille translator and copy it into a toot: branah.com/braille-translator

@pvagner @menelion Hello Peter, will that command allow you to insert braille in a toot from a Windows machine?

@Deafblind Engineer @Andre Polykanine I run lou_translate from the command line I can post an example of the call of how I'm doing it later. It gives me an output in unicode braille and I can then copy and paste whenever I wish.

@pvagner @menelion Thanks Peter, that's very much appreciated. It would make life easier if I can get a unicode output in Terminal on Windows or WSL.

So with #liblouis installed and available on the path, I can call it like this:
echo "Merry Christmas" | lou_translate unicode.dis,en-us-g2.ctb
And it will output
⠠⠍⠻⠗⠽⠀⠠⠡⠗⠊⠌⠍⠁⠎

For most braille codes liblouis is a great source so we can be sure it's going to be right. Just change your table when calling.

@pvagner @menelion Thanks for that Peter. I was able to get it working with Ubuntu under WSL. I changed my table to lou_translate unicode.dis,en-ueb-g2.ctb < input.txt
