Lenovo Vantage is nasty. The whole "let's install drivers and software while you're actively using the computer" thing is completely unacceptable, especially because the setup windows it pops up actually grab keyboard focus away from whatever you were doing. At least properly hide the damned setup windows if they must have them at all.

But I have one more frustrating annoyance. Yesterday I did some audio editing in Reaper, everithing worked fine. Today after this update, reaper didn't work e. g. I had no output. After investigation, I noticed that something sets my output device to operate at 96 khz 24 bit. Maybe it is the best possible quality for the integrated realtek hardware but I prefer 48 khz 16 bit. and I have no idea why some system update needs to change that.
