Well fuck. If a room in #Matrix is on Homeserver A, and an admin on Homeserver B runs /upgraderoom, then the room is moved to Homeserver B. It does not stay on Homeserver A.
I uhh... do not want the unofficial Slackware matrix server on my homeserver.

in reply to The Matrix.org Foundation • • •yeah I know how the rooms work, but having the public address change to my homeserver was very unexpected and definitely not desired. We sidegraded the room to fix it, causing our users a headache by having to jump rooms twice. Having my homeserver in the history chain is also not exactly desirable.
That rooms have "versions" sure is a trip. A bad trip.
