I intend to show up at #FOSDEM 2025.

If I would propose a talk there, what should it be about?

Well, I have a little side-quest about this thing:

earth.org.uk/RSS-efficiency.ht…

Maybe you could describe using curl's support for cacheing, compression, etc, to be a good network citizen, and save creatives' hosting budgets and the climate?

How to shut down trolls.

I'm dead serious, too. You have a lot of experience with that, you manage to pull it off without people hating you, and it's a skill that more people should perfect.

"How curl which supports all major (and most minor) network protocols and has a huge user base, has only 18 open issues" :D

@isotopp @jpmens not exactly; it is designed to handle the primary use case when you just want to download a number of URLs with no extra arguments

Useful. That's the single case for which I use wget.
Not wanting to bother with specifying where to put the file because "right here is good".

maybe you gave this talk already but i’d be interested to hear a retro on http/2 from your perspective, I know http/2 promised a lot of things and i’m curious about what it delivered and what it didn’t (for example I guess server push is in the second column developer.chrome.com/blog/remo…)

no clue what ur would be about but “You don’t know squat about curl” dress in workout gear and let the puns do the heavy lifting.

What are the most improbable places/software where curl is used
