Honestly, you're winning me over more and more :blobcatnerd: I use Proton Mail right now, but seeing how open and active you are - talking with people on the fediverse and replying to comments - really means a lot. Especially since Proton left Mastodon a few months ago :mastodon:

Your strong support for the #FightChatControl campaign and your clear choice to stand up for privacy rights - instead of giving up and leaving the market if the law goes through - says a lot 🔐 I've always liked tools that focus on doing one thing well, not big all-in-one ecosystems, and it looks like your way fits me much better.

Thanks for staying true to your values 🙌 I really hope that never changes.

@zockbursche even their audit report for calendar is from 2021.

But from what I found online, all their web based code was moved to github.com/ProtonMail/WebClien…

Also, proton said in a reddit post 3 years ago, that calender is not open source. reddit.com/r/ProtonMail/commen…

2 years ago, they said this reddit.com/r/ProtonMail/commen…

This is not expected from proton. It appears, that may have caught the big tech virus. Their revenue has grown a lot, they are launching new products fast.. sigh

@zockbursche You really need to learn how to use a search engine: github.com/ProtonMail/WebClien…

"This project is a monorepo hosting the Proton web clients. It includes the web applications, their dependencies & shared modules as well as all tooling surrounding development of the web clients (as well as some additional miscellaneous things)."

And then, three clicks later: github.com/ProtonMail/WebClien…

I'm a paying customer for both Tuta and Proton. Want to support Tuta hoping they improve. But they're not good enough right now compared to Proton which, while not being perfect, works for me in replacing US software.

Proton on the other hand keep showing up in unflattering stories a bit too often for my liking.

Hoping Tuta improves their UX and adds additional apps to form a "suite": password manager, cloud, VPN. Heck even cryptpad...

Unfortunately #Proton chose to leave Mastodon since they got more pushback here than on other platforms whenever they stepped outside of the image they portrayed. Thus they sadly won't see your apt post.

(I'm still a Proton Visionary customer though, but even as such they didn't want to admit to why they left the Fediverse)
