Hey @protonprivacy it would be nice if you could update your website. Given that both of us fight for #privacy and #opensource, we must not use the same marketing tactics like Big Techs do.
Tuta, you should know that Proton left Mastodon. You should write them via Reddit. As far as I know, Reddit is also your main communication/Support channel. @protonprivacy

I think Google, Apple and all others believe in the power of open source as well and particularly companies like Microsoft or Amazon who profit from open source hugely. To believe in the power of open source does not mean that you do open source.
why don't you create some automatism, how to migrate from proton to you? I sure can do a lot of things manually, but something which supports me would be beneficial because I'm not a techie.
Honestly, you're winning me over more and more I use Proton Mail right now, but seeing how open and active you are - talking with people on the fediverse and replying to comments - really means a lot. Especially since Proton left Mastodon a few months ago
Your strong support for the #FightChatControl campaign and your clear choice to stand up for privacy rights - instead of giving up and leaving the market if the law goes through - says a lot 🔐 I've always liked tools that focus on doing one thing well, not big all-in-one ecosystems, and it looks like your way fits me much better.
Thanks for staying true to your values 🙌 I really hope that never changes.
seriously? Is some AI chat your only source? Don't get me wrong, if this is true it's worth calling it out but you should put a little more effort in it.
This is not expected from proton. It appears, that may have caught the big tech virus. Their revenue has grown a lot, they are launching new products fast.. sigh
"This project is a monorepo hosting the Proton web clients. It includes the web applications, their dependencies & shared modules as well as all tooling surrounding development of the web clients (as well as some additional miscellaneous things)."
can you just honestly STFU and mind your own business. Maybe you should spend your time and resources implementing WKD and PGP support instead of bitching on other companies in privacy space. Your social media behaviour is not helping the cause and rather sickening. To your management: find someone else to manage your social media accounts.
proton killed off their fedi account ages ago, after everyone here (justifiably) got mad about the CEO saying some REALLY problematic right wing stuff. I would stay away from their stuff if I were you
I'm a paying customer for both Tuta and Proton. Want to support Tuta hoping they improve. But they're not good enough right now compared to Proton which, while not being perfect, works for me in replacing US software.
Proton on the other hand keep showing up in unflattering stories a bit too often for my liking.
Hoping Tuta improves their UX and adds additional apps to form a "suite": password manager, cloud, VPN. Heck even cryptpad...
I should really start running away from them. Ahhhh...I am still in the Proton bubble. I target to be free of their services by end of 2025. I am subscribed until Dec. 2025.
Unfortunately #Proton chose to leave Mastodon since they got more pushback here than on other platforms whenever they stepped outside of the image they portrayed. Thus they sadly won't see your apt post.
(I'm still a Proton Visionary customer though, but even as such they didn't want to admit to why they left the Fediverse)

in reply to Tuta • • •@zockbursche even their audit report for calendar is from 2021.
But from what I found online, all their web based code was moved to github.com/ProtonMail/WebClien…
Also, proton said in a reddit post 3 years ago, that calender is not open source. reddit.com/r/ProtonMail/commen…
