Tbh, in the moz://a logo, out of all uses I’ve ever seen, it makes the most sense.

@calisti I agree. I tried very hard to get it "merged" into the curl logo somehow but we just did not have the letters for it like Mozilla does!

I remember experimenting with logos over coffee at fosdem. Good times!

Very true in this case! 🫡

:// at curl was copied from original source too. The universe is too large for this only happened with this two projects.
in reply to You need to:

@rtfm it was not copied from any other logo/company/project at least, because at that time I knew of no such to copy from. But sure, :// has been used since URLs were invented - if not longer.
in reply to daniel:// stenberg://

but you probably presume they copy from. Probably the designer don't even know what curl is all about :PP Did you copy the word curl from someplace? That's why intellectual property is a nice indicator how messup is the current justice systems at all sectors.
in reply to You need to:

@rtfm I don't presume in this case. I talked to them so I know how things played out.

And about curl, that word had a meaning before the curl project, yes. Shocking, I know.

oh, i rest my case about the :// then probably one day curl will be :))

That's shocking indeed. Congratulations for your projects. Kudos
