these days I only really use it to sign up to things... so future emails/newsletters don't clog up my real inbox!
in reply to torspedia

@torspedia This is also possible through the use of throwaway aliases which will keep your emails safe from the prying eyes of Google.
in reply to Tuta

Is it possible now to use user+flag@tuta… or still not?
in reply to Tuta

I still (begrudginly) use Gmail+Google Calendar. If you have or make a tutorial on how to transfer Google Calendar over to Tuta Calendar, that'd be enough for some users to migrate also I think.
in reply to Scotty Trees

@scottytrees Thanks for the idea! We'll get this added to our planned tutorial list : )

this platform is full of revolutionaries

We don't actually switch services, because we're currently using Zoho Mail. At least our email aren't spied on by Google or Microsoft! We don't see any email ads (even on webmail), just newsletters we registered for.

if not for my Android mobile, I would habe deleted my Google account years ago.
But what you actually can do is replace your Google mail linked to your account with a new mail, Tuta for example ;)

Most businesses use Gmail and Google usually flags other providers as spasm
in reply to Piouzi

@piouzi This is one of the most frustrating points of switching to a smaller open source provider. But if more people make the jump and support independent developers these tight incorrect spam rules should lessen.
