that was a frustrating read.
Of the 6 practices:
1. Yes!
2. Yes! …but the example shown in the article is a bizarre anti-pattern that doesn’t reflect that principle at all.
3. Same as #2.
4. Eh, it depends. Build steps are over-used, but still absolutely necessary in lots of cases.
5. Yes!
6. This point has nothing to do with the rest, is a totally separate ideological debate, and shouldn’t have been included.
