#ChatControl is OFF the table for now. 💪
But the Danish Minister of Justice and chief architect of the current Chat Control proposal, Peter Hummelgaard, wants to bring it back in December.
😡 He now even claims your activism was paid for by Big Tech! 😡
We must keep fighting for #encryption and our right to #privacy 🔒️

I am 100% sure he'll argue "but it's different for me", because types like that never believe they ought to suffer from the same thing they want to bring upon others.

in reply to Tuta • • •Peter Hummelgaard continues to amaze!!
But I think there is reason to be concerned:
- What or who makes him believe that it is now possible to implement? Has anything changed?
- A rewriting of the proposal so that it APPEARS acceptable
Peter Hummelgaard does not believe the battle is over...
... well it is not...

A Social Democrat by name, but in a coalition government where appearing decisive and tough is a huge priority.
