Just about everything I hear about or experience with Windows, Mac OS, or iOS leave me clutching my #Linux installation closer in alarm. Lately it seems a positive luxury to run an OS that works without creating accounts on a website, doesn't serve ads, isn't a storefront for paid subscription services, and lets me download and open files in folders and with software of my choosing.
