So I upgraded to #Gnome 46 on my #ArchLinux. :gnome: :archlinux:
What a surprise. For several last gnome releases they were waiting for bugfixed x.1 version and now we have it a few days after the release. We got it even sooner than Flathub. 🏆

As the #DashToPanel extension is not ported yet I am forced to "enjoy" the pure gnome experience. Does anybody use it in this raw form? 🤨

I'm glad your issue is resolved but there are a lot of people using "pure" Gnome, including me. I don't need the panel for my apps since I always launch apps by just typing the first few letters of the name on the keyboard

very impressive how quick we got 46 on arch! This is the first time I can remember extensions breaking due to them not being updated yet 🤣 it’s a good problem to have.

@Fingel Arch used to get newly released Gnome as a first distro back in the time when I started to use it.
And it took several months to get all extensions updated. Now the extension api is more stable.
