Interesting article. I think some of it is true, some of it is exaggeration (I self-host and have no issues with the size of the cache, for example). But ultimately I am not fussed if the entire world doesn't want to use the fedi. Centralised services have other problems and points of failures that may be the 2% that doesn't work for me.

But, where's the stuff about Kbin you mentioned? I didn't find it in the article.
