I liked Cars 2 in theaters. I was 9 or 10. I liked how it sort of took apart the “goofy side character” trope in Disney movies and showed how it must kind of hurt for them to be seen like that. It made me feel a bit bad for laughing at other side characters like that.
The execution was all over the place but 9yo me didn’t care.
