Thanks, worked for me to resolve repeated authentication failures in recent days.

Hey, if I'm viewing an email and press the 'k' key, what did that do? The email seems to have disappeared
in reply to DonatellaInCali

@Donatella Hiya! On standard US keyboards, "K" *should* advance you to the next unread email.

Are you by any chance using an add-on that lets you remap keyboard shortcuts? Or do you have a non-standard keyboard configuration?

@Donatella You're absolutely right, that's my mistake! Here's more info about Ignore Threads: support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/iโ€ฆ

Changed to OAuth2 and am now getting continual popups saying my browser doesn't support cookies.
in reply to don albertson

Can you go to Settings > Privacy and Security and enable cookies?

I did that, and it resolved the major issue. I hadn't considered T-bird's internal browser.

thanks, I was having the message about wrong login and since I used an application password and reseted multiple times I was blaming Microsoft, but with oauth, everything works fine again!

Haven't noticed any change in Thunderbird, but in recent days though I've been getting intermittent auth issues for Hotmail in K9, which doesn't support OAuth for personal Microsoft accounts (but I'm using an app password).
in reply to Thunderbird: Free Your Inbox

Having been through this process at work recently, it seems that a possible cause of problems could be #Thunderbird not being set up to allow cookies (which privacy conscious users naturally tend not to permit). It seems that some #OAuth2 login pages may need cookies to be allowed in order to work, so it is probably worth adding this to the support page as a suggestion to check this setting.

@davecykl We've gone ahead and opened an issue on the page to add the suggestion to check cookies. Thanks for the suggestion!
