Thunderbird can help you get on Jeopardy!

Okay, it can help you not miss important messages, like those saying you passed the contestant exam and audition. But if you're using Thunderbird, you're definitely clever enough for Jeopardy. 🟦 🤔

it would be nice if i could sync my settings, using my nextcloud, with my other thunderbird devices. Possibly my mobile! Is this possible?
in reply to Johannes Jacobs

@johannes We do have a sync feature in development! We haven't tried using Nextcloud to sync settings, but if there was any social platform where people would know how, it would be here.

its because most people i know who selfhost Nextcloud, also use Thunderbird. Opensource and all.. :) so i really believe its a golden match!

@johannes While I think both, I haven't had the need to sync settings yet. The best option would be for TB to provide WebDAV sync option, so it could be synced with any WebDAV compatible service. And also extend that to TB for Android 😃

Note taking app Joplin does it well, as an example.

Otherwise, location where user data is stored could be synced to Nextcloud via Nextcloud's desktop client.

@tekvsakdan We have a monthly development digest on our blog (blog.thunderbird.net), and we post a link here when its available. While there weren't any updates on Sync in the most recent issue, this series is where you would have any updates on it.
