@johannes Thanks for the feedback, and we understand your concern. While Owl is a great-add on, we know for many users (current and future) native Outlook support is something they need to both use Thunderbird and to recommend it to others.

Especially because there is already a (paid but very affordable) add-on for Thunderbird that allows post office and outlook integration
