I remember the stable Thunderbird before current where my system's solarised dark mode looked horrible with the default purple folders, so I had to keep changing their colour manually (and for a long time the colour would be wrong on startup until I unfocused and refocused the window) - I was very happy when those shenanigans were over
Definitely happy to have the team putting more focus on reworking legacy code - a sincere thank you from someone who won't stand for any less benevolent an email solution (:

That's a huge part of my workflow. I used the Nostalgy extension to accomplish that back in the day, and it's the biggest concern I have about possibly coming back home to Thunderbird from Postbox.
Great work lately on giving Thunderbird some much-needed love, by the way! It's looking good!
