I thought I saw a post about the #Unspoken #Addon for #NVDASR being updated earlier. Audio themes is still about too isn't it? There's also one called navigation sounds. ... What is everyone using?
@fastfinge @modulux There was an interesting addon that did sounds for punctuation some time ago. And I used to wonder how powerful a system would be that let you play sounds based on screen text and background sound for window titles. Might be neat for some to have different ambience for other windows, for example.
Sounds and earcons aside, though, I'd like to be able to turn off control type indication without an addon, really
I sometimes wonder if sounds and earcons should be handled by a different app. It would mean they could be the same across screen readers, and if the screen reader crashed, the earcons would continue.

I also maintain a fork but if the other version is just as good I will probably stop: https://modulus.isonomia.net/doodles/unspoken.nvda-addon
