Welp. I got notified by my ISP that our email service will be switched to ... Yahoo.
Yahoo?! :blobcatscared:
But our email address will remain the same, isn't that nice. I never expected that a large ISP like them would do this, but I guess this is where we are these days.

So, time to find a new email provider. Anyone have a recommendation for a service you have used and are happy with? Something reliable with a good privacy record? And I'd prefer to access it with @thunderbird rather than via web browser, if possible.

(NOT gmail, do NOT say gmail! :blob_sign_no: )

@mvgorcum Thanks, that looks pretty good, except you have have your own domain name(s), which I don't. Something to keep in mind if I ever do, though.

right, that's true, though I wpuld argue that getting a domain just for email purposes could already be worth it. Domains don't need to be particularly expensive (around €10 per year)
