Just a random thought.
As Generative AI is being used for creating a lot of content these days, what happens when the next generation of AI models are trained using that content.
When AI models are trained on AI generated content, we'll officially enter the 8th circle of hell

I wrote about it last year, and not too much has changed since... Sam Altman actually wants to use synthetic content to that end despite this.

Your perspective on this is insightful.
I wish that someone comes up with a term for this, akin to `enshittification`.
in reply to Musharraf :verified:

I think enshittification fits.

By feeding a generative AI content it generates, it potentially enshittifies the stuff that comes out.

It's already happening, I think.

When piper was about, there was like a brief pause before the dialog came up, Sonata doesn't do this.

@TomGrant91
you mean `freeze` not `pause`?
If so, it was a bug. Now the voices initialize themselves when they're actually being used.

Just for fun I ran my old NVDA 2023.4 with piper portable and it took a little while about a couple of seconds to initialise them. I also have found out especially the keynote and alex ones that punctuation is took into account now properly.
