I didn’t realize that @threemaapp had their own #fdroid repository¹ for a while. Now - through the magic of reproducible builds - Threema Libre is even available in the official @fdroidorg repository.
That’s pretty cool! I like it when developers work with the open source community instead of having nothing but despite for the »FOSS libertarian dream«².

Hm, yes. But it would be fair to acknowledge that you did not create an iOS app (while @threemaapp and @signalapp did) and that that is really missing and a huge desire, regarding both the UX of XMPP as well as the experiences of a company having to deal with that.

I really support and appreciate your efforts, but the comments you get, and the thread you linked to is what is wrong with Mastodon. It is a big dumpster fire for broad hipster unchecked uccusations and agenda pushing. Can't we just focus on the technology?
