#StreetComplete's AR measuring functionality is, for licensing reasons, now a separate app (github.com/streetcomplete/Stre…).

This means though that this functionality is now available with Streetcomplete installed from F-Droid, if you also install the #StreetMeasure app (FOSS, except it needs to include google's proprietary AR bindings lib) as well as the "Google Play Services for AR" app (proprietary but surprisingly not dependent on actual play services being available on the device).

It also means that you can use it as a standlaone AR measuring app, which is a nice bonus :).

And thanks to Android's intent/activity system the user-experience is about the same, regardless if the functionality is in a separate apk or not.

Great solution overall as now anyone can easily use it, if they want to (and are willing to use non-free software for that functionality).

(Previously you needed to install SC from google play and not from f-droid to access this function)
