This might apply to non-Europeans, too. Assuming you're selling support services to the EU market?

Honestly, I find that whole debate depressing to no end. It's that kind if legislation that will ensure that commercial work on #FOSS projects will be something only corporate legal departments can wade through, pushing out individual or, you know, "natural person"

this is depressing; monetizing support/feature development seems such a risk nowadays. At that point just creating a commercial product seems like a better solution

are you placing a product on the market? If not, this doesn't apply to you. If yes, you would already know (e.g.: you need to provide 2 years warranty), and you wouldn't need to ask. A lot of people are trying extremely hard to make this way more complicated than it actually is...
