So, I just conducted an experiment last night, and made it work.
Ever had this issue where sometimes you would accidentally wake up the display of your apple watch in bed while moving about? I found a fun trick for it.
You can create a shortcut on your phone, which is set to turn on water lock. Then a second one, which is used to turn it off. You can then program these as automations, for example:
* turn on water lock when bedtime starts
* turn it off, say, one minute before your alarm goes off so you can stop said alarm
That way the display of your watch will remain unable to detect any sort of touch at night so if you move a lot and end up accidentally activating it like I did, no more worries. Best of all, the automation is silent, and will not play any noise when turning off water lock, since this is controlled by the actual press of the digital crown.
Anyway, hope this helps some other folks.
