Our new report exposes how corporations have used the EU Single Market to obstruct progressive legislation like social housing measures, progressive healthcare reforms, protection from harmful substances as well bans on short-distance flights.corporateeurope.org
🔴 Our new report “30 Years of EU Single Market" shows:
1️⃣ The EU Commission receives on average about 400 corporate complaints about alleged violations of #SingleMarket law each year.
2️⃣ Corporate interests trigger the EU Commission into initiating investigations, which can evolve into infringement procedures, which deal with potential breaches of Single Market legislation. The EU Commission not only welcomes, but sometimes even solicits these complaints.
This means more savings for EU consumers and less waste for the planet:
